How custom orthotics are made:

  1. Comprehensive Assessment
Your physiotherapist will assess your posture, gait, and movement patterns, as well as your pain history and activity goals, to determine whether orthotics are appropriate for you.
  2. Gait Scanning & Analysis
Using a dynamic gait plate, which contains thousands of sensors, we measure the forces and pressure distribution through your feet during walking and standing. This provides a detailed analysis of your gait mechanics.
  3. Interpretation & Prescription
Your physiotherapist will review the gait scan report, explain the results, and discuss how custom orthotics can address your specific biomechanical issues and pain points.
  4. Custom Manufacturing
The scan data and prescription are sent to our trusted orthotics suppliers, where podiatrists manufacture your custom orthotics according to your unique gait and biomechanical profile.
  5. Fitting & Follow-Up
Once your orthotics are ready, your physiotherapist will ensure a perfect fit and provide guidance on gradually integrating them into your daily activities. Follow-up appointments monitor your comfort, function, and overall benefit.
