Headaches
Whiplash or neck injuries
Vertigo or dizziness
Our tailored physiotherapy programs address the root causes and support your recovery.

Jaw Pain & Temporomandibular Disorders (TMD)
TMD affects the jaw joint and surrounding muscles, impacting daily activities like chewing and speaking. Symptoms include jaw pain, clicking or locking, headaches, earaches, and facial discomfort. Causes of TMD range from jaw injuries and arthritis to teeth grinding and poor posture.
Our physiotherapists conduct thorough assessments to pinpoint the cause of your jaw pain and develop personalised treatment plans. These may include manual therapy, jaw mobility exercises, postural correction, behaviour modification, and education; all aimed at restoring function and reducing pain.
Headaches
Headaches are complex and can be classified as primary (like tension headaches, migraines, and cluster headaches) or secondary (resulting from other medical issues such as neck dysfunction). Physiotherapy is especially effective for cervicogenic headaches (or headaches originating from the neck) and can assist with some tension headaches and migraines.
Treatment involves a detailed assessment, manual therapies including cervical mobilisations and trigger point therapy, targeted exercises to improve posture and strength, and patient education for long-term management. Our evidence-based approach helps reduce headache frequency and severity, improving your daily life.

Whiplash & Neck Injuries
Whiplash occurs when the neck experiences a sudden forceful movement. It is most commonly as the result of car accidents or falls, causing damage to muscles, ligaments, and joints. Symptoms include neck pain, stiffness, headaches, dizziness, reduced neck movement, and sometimes cognitive difficulties.
Physiotherapy plays a vital role in whiplash recovery through comprehensive assessment, manual therapy to ease pain and improve mobility, specific exercises to restore neck movement and strengthen supporting muscles, and education on posture and self-care strategies to prevent future issues.
Vertigo & Dizziness
Dizziness and balance problems are common and can result from a variety of causes. Vertigo is a specific sensation of spinning or false movement often linked to inner ear dysfunctions such as Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), Meniere’s disease, or vestibular neuritis. Dizziness may stem from dehydration, low blood sugar, the effects of medication, or cardiovascular issues.
Our physiotherapists are experienced in assessing vestibular and balance disorders, using clinical tests to determine the underlying cause. Treatment may include vestibular rehabilitation exercises, balance training, and education to help you regain stability and confidence in daily activities.
